Dee Dee Murray
Dee Dee Murry is an artist/photographer living in the Pacific NW with her Havanese daughter, Sophie. She paints pet portraits as well as wildlife, duck stamps, horses and any other non-human species. She taught her last dog daughter, Hallie, a blind longhaired dachshund, how to paint and they were on many TV shows, raising over $35,000.00 from Hallie’s art which was donated to dog rescue. They are in a documentary called Million Dollar Duck which airs on Animal Planet and was voted Top 10 documentaries for 2016.
Sophie is true to the Havanese breed, hilarious, naughty, smart, loving and adorable and is carving her own niche in life, learning tricks and posing for photos. She will soon have her own book series on the life of a naughty Havanese puppy, written and illustrated (with photos and art) by Dee Dee. She has already been in a Walgreens Red Nose Day commercial and plans to pursue her film /print career as well as K9 Nosework and trick training.
