Sue Edwards
I started to show Rough Collies albeit infrequently at the age of 15, about 40 years ago.
(Where does time go?) In 1995 I subscribed to a dog magazine which ran a small article about the Havanese. This was my first encounter with the breed. In 2007 I began to search the internet to find out more about the Havanese. I found a number of books online which I purchased. I read everything I could about the breed. I visited the Havanese Club of Great Britain show in 2007 and became a member; then in 2008 became a Havanese owner.
Since 2008 I have qualified as a Groomer and have started further studies in canine behaviour, dog training theory and canine nutrition.
My hobbies include creating dog embroideries and animal oil paintings, grooming, training and walking my Havanese and of course just cuddling her.
I am an affiliate of the Kennel Club UK and am a member of the Havanese Club of Great Britain.
My Havanese and I have represented the Havanese Club of Great Britain on the “Discover Dogs” stand at Crufts.
